Psychological Therapy

Psychological Therapy

This therapy provides psychological support to the little ones with neurological-cerebral disability, oriented to the exchange of negative behaviors, for the correct learning of new life patterns, restructuring the appropriate skills and strategies, to respond favorably, to the difficulties of each diagnosis.

The support provided to the Families is aimed towards their acceptance and appreciation, as well as the resolution of the difficulties that arise, since the success of the work we do in the Foundation depends to a large extent on the support that is provided to the child at home.

The greatest concern for the team is to provide psychological therapy to the mothers and fathers, so they can reach a better acceptance and awareness in the management of the diagnosis of their children, and that they understand that having a child with a disability does is not a divine punishment or the worst thing that can happen. Quite the contrary, it can represent a positive and sobering life experience.
